Oracle Database 12c Avaliable?
Today is 6/25/2013 and the Oracle community and the KSCOPE conference is silently a buzz with the news that Oracle Database 12c (12.1.0.1) is available for download on http://edelievery.oracle.com (came out on twitter first). This is good news, yet there is no “official” announcement from Oracle on its release. If you have access to http://edelievery.oracle.com, great enjoy finding out more about Oracle Database 12c. If you don’t, you’ll have to wait until the release is announced and on OTN.
Now, I have a bit of a concern here. With all the buzz, will Oracle be able to stop all the blog posts that will be generated today since there is no “official” release? Or was this posting of the release intended to excite the community? I guess only time can tell, Enjoy!

I’m Bobby Curtis and I’m just your normal average guy who has been working in the technology field for awhile (started when I was 18 with the US Army). The goal of this blog has changed a bit over the years. Initially, it was a general blog where I wrote thoughts down. Then it changed to focus on the Oracle Database, Oracle Enterprise Manager, and eventually Oracle GoldenGate.
