- Ensure there are no services for the instance.
$CRS_HOME/bin/crs_stat –t -v
- Add the service using srvctl
$CRS-HOME/bin/srvctl add service –d <db name> -s <service_name> -i <”instance_name”>
- Check if service exists using crs_stat
$CRS_HOME/bin/crs_stat –t –v
- Enable the instance so the service can run
$CRS_HOME/bin/srvctl enable instance -d <db name> -i <instance name>
- Start the new instance
$CRS_HOME/bin/ srvctl start service -d <db name> -s <“service name”> -I <instance name>
